Trauma Attuned Arts: A Framework for Creative Care // 16th June, doors at 09:30 // Free - reserve a spot via Eventbrite.
In a world motivated to use our innate creativity to address the harm caused by trauma, what more can we do?
This event will launch a new trauma attuned arts framework co-created by a team of artists, practitioners and academics from across the UK and Ukraine. It has been developed by celebrating real world examples from across different settings and genres; and by critically analysing our own practice. It offers a structure for personal growth, developing projects, and leading for change. It helps articulate in personal ways, what trauma attuned arts projects may be hoping to achieve and how they can meet their goals for all communities and cultures. It will be a day of imagination, connection and hope.
Culture Club - Iona Reid // 27th June, 6pm // Tickets via Eventbrite, or on the door

The harmonium has been discarded by many as a second rate instrument with only a handful of pieces written for it. How wrong they are! It's unique timbre, tone and sonority were unlocked by many composers of the 19th century, something we will demonstrate.
Meadows Chamber Orchestra // 21st June, 7:30pm // Tickets from orchestra members or Ticketsource
Summer concert featuring works by Rebel, Mendelssohn, and Mozart - with Gordon Bragg conducting and Afonso Fesch on violin.
Comedy
Anton Lirnik - Residence Card (Russian language) // 14th June, 8pm // Tickets via Yotta Events
Anton Lirnik (the "intellectual half" of the cult Chekhov Duet) presents his new solo program, “Residence Permit.”
"Residence Permit" is a comedy about our new shared realities, moving, finding ourselves in a rapidly changing world, and about what will always distinguish us from the "locals" - our shared childhood.
Mature, high-quality, and professional stand-up. No vulgarity, just relevant, subtle, and always heartfelt humor from a comedian who knows how to address complex issues with ease.
This performance is in the Russian language.
