This autumn we are starting an exciting collaboration with Stockbridge Primary School.

Over six sessions, pupils will work with the Stockbridge Music Hub to compose a new piece inspired by our local area.

We will compose music together for a poem - Scissor Beak - written last year by local writer Jacques Tsiantar for Stockbridge Church's Christmas carol project, and inspired by the natural world around Inverleith Pond.

The finished work will be premiered by professional musicians at Stockbridge Church on 17 December at 2pm. Tickets will be available soon. I hope many of you will come along to hear what children from our local area have created musically.
