Giving
We warmly invite you to support the work of our church. It’s a personal decision you’ll want to reflect on in your own time — so there are no strict rules. We know that personal circumstances, commitments and responsibilities vary so widely, and want to emphasise that what matters most is the spirit behind your gift.
Why regular giving helps
When you give on a regular basis — whether weekly, monthly or once a year — it makes a big difference. It helps the church plan effectively. Your ongoing support, however small, is valued and helps build our shared community.
Ways you can give
Here are some of the methods our members use:
Freewill Offering Envelopes: You commit to giving a regular amount each week. If you miss a week, you can catch up later. This helps our Treasurer keep a clear view of finances.
Standing Order from your bank: A convenient alternative, especially if you’d prefer not to fill envelopes every time.
Gift Aid: If you are a UK taxpayer, you can complete a simple form (just once) to allow the church to reclaim tax on your gift—this increases your gift by around 20% at no extra cost to you.
Payroll Giving / Give As You Earn: Some employers offer this option, allowing contributions to be taken from your salary before tax.
